SC - Kendall Mint Cakes

I can help here, having just seen them in Breckenridge, CO (unfortunately,
dipped in chocolate and NOT the lovely ones I remember as a child).  They
are another sweet, sort of a hard fudge, tasting wonderfully of mint.  The
forerunner of today's energy bars.  I was first introduced to them as a
child visiting England and they are one of the things on which I stock up
when they can be found handily.

(Recipe, please?  It's not in any of my British cookbooks.)
