Wormwood is a narcotic, and as common rule of thumb you dont combine
narcotics and alcohol in decent quantities over a prolonged period as it
can cause liver damage, and many toxins that arent washed out of the
system by the liver can be dangerous to the nervous system.
Everything else aside, using absinthe as a deink component, or enjoying
[ecchhhh] the occasional drink of absinthe should cause no health
problems-just like drinking plain alcohol in moderation does no harm
[lets not get into that debate here!] but if overdone causes liver and
nervous system damage and some really nasty health problems of its own.
