SC - Elizabethan feasts ?

I recently (3 weeks ago) cooked an Elizabethan feast for a nearby Barony (as I'm the local landed
Baroness, they won't let me cook here at home!). I do have several sources of information, and
will, in a later message, send you the names/publication info about those.

The good news is that, so far as the menu is concerned, you can do all sorts of lovely things that
are not period for earlier feasts. I served a wonderful sweet potato and apple casserole at my
feast, and got a big kick out of watching the diners, used to the idea that "potatoes aren't period"
wondering how this could be!

I don't mean to be a tease, but I'm trying to plow through a whole bunch of messages before I have
to leave for a job interview...and the books in question are upstairs in my kitchen!
