Unfortunately Louis Szathmary passed away a few, maybe 3, years ago. He 
donated a portion of his personal collection to the U of Iowa (the 
"Szathmary Collection") and a portion to the culinary school at Johnson & 
Wales U. David Schoonover, curator of the Szathmary Collection and editor 
of U of Iowa's Szathmary series of reprints, was the speaker at a Culinary 
Historians of Chicago meeting last year honoring Chef Szathmary. The 
Szathmary Collection is eclectic to say the least. I remember blushing 
about some slides Schoonover showed, featuring cover art from some of the 
aphrodisiac-themed cookbooks Szathmary had donated.
