I thought from discussion here that medeival blanc mange was dead and gone 
except for our interest and that modern blanc mange is an icky kind of 
dessert.  But in researching irish/scottish/welsh food for my celtic feast I 
leaned a little on modern ethnic cookbooks and found that the chicken and 
almond milk recipe is still considered a 'trad.' dish and pops up in those 
sort of collections under other names.  Anyone else encounter this?
