Oops!!
Sorry, "parve" means _neutral_ in Yiddish.  ie: no meat, no dairy.  A person 
who keeps kosher would need to know this.  So they would substitute soy milk 
or rice milk or non-dairy coffee creamer, or (and here's the medieval 
content) almond milk for the cow's milk.
