The 1481 to 1981 error occurs on page 43 of the hardbound edition of Milham.
This appears to be a typesetter's error.

I haven't worked out the Rovere - Rovella business, since Milham refers to
Bartolomeo Roverella, Cardinal of Ravenna, Francesco della Rovere, Pope
Sixtus IV, and Giuliano della Rovere, Pope Julius II, and I am uncertain of
the history of these individuals and their relationship to Platina.

I also wonder about the etc.
