OT and OOP, sort of!

We have been discussing holiday foods, lent and feast/fast days off an on
lately, and this popped up in one of my other lists:

 >Holiday greetings to all!

 >And here's something to think about, later in the day ...
 >On Morning Edition recently a Catholic theologian asserted that hamburgers
 >and fries are "not Catholic." The theologian said that McDonalds had
 >"completely forgotten the holiness of food" and that fast food reflects
 >the individualistic relationship between man and God as established by
 >Luther. -- NPR's Sylvia Poggioli reporting.

 >Hamburgers may not be Catholic. Are usually not kosher. But nevertheless
 >are, as Calvin put it, "predestined." Ergo -- are hamburgers Presbyterian?

 >One might add, "I never met an atheist hamburger at a McDonalds foxhole."

 >This being Thanksgiving, does anyone have any suggestions about the
 >religious affiliation of the turkey?

Maybe McDonalds is the anti-christ?
