I'll second that endorsement! I'm NOT a cabbage fan, and this is
practically the only cabbage recipe I actually like........... That said, I
usually make it into a main dish by adding a good bit of sliced up smoked
sausage. Oh, and I don't use broth, just wine and vinegar for the liquid,
with a bit more sugar than Bear's version. And usually fennel seeds for the
spice, and served over rice...........
As they say of folk music, that's the folk process at work! ;-)
