Yes people will eat rabbit.  Only in the case of the feast I was assisting 
at, despite the menu saying "rabbit stew"  people assumed they were getting 
"we are pretending that chicken is 'rabbit' stew".  Even when assured it was 
rabbit.  The cook got them frozen from an asian grocery.

*sigh*
