SC - Cucumbers: Recipe & Question

I make something like this.  It is thinly sliced cukes put in a dish with 
(optional) thinly sliced onions.  Therein I put sourcream, dill, salt and 
white pepper and a dash of white vinegar.  Serve chilled.
