Absolutly, expecially if one is trying unusual and work intensive dishes
such as dumplings.  I made dumplings for only 25 and it was a massive
effort.  Thankfully they turned out well, but it was something I would never
do for a feast.

I feel for that feast steward.. that will be a feast that will be hard to
forget.
