I was going to get figs, but the fresh were 5 dollars for a berry box 
full. Fresh are more interesting than dried, which are less black (or 
purple). Blackberries? Again, the cost, and the waste. I want them 
all to myself :-)

Beverages: things that are actually dark brown won't look so eeeevil 
- - like root beer and coffee. I thought i saw some nearly black 
Gatorade, which much as i detest it, is often good for us. I remember 
at Las Vegas drinking down a bunch and thinking, hmmm, this just 
tastes like weak Tang - then i knew i was dehydrated.

Maybe i'll just have to find some black food color and dye some water 
or milk...
