A couple of points:

1. I think the uncut stones should have the virtues just as much as 
the cut ones, and they are a lot less expensive.

2. Note that you aren't using all of the stones listed, just the ones 
that the physician recommends. And, of course, you aren't using the 
stones up--they are still there when you finish making the soup. 
Neither corundum nor Silicon dioxide is soluble in chicken soup, nor, 
I think, are any of the other minerals in the bag.
