That depends on which "bit" you want.  There are two chapters on 
feeding chickens -- one on their general care, and another on how 
to fatten them, a total of about 1600 words.  If you just want the few 
lines detailing what they ate, I can do that fairly promptly, say, 
within a week.  If you want the complete chapters... I regret that I 
don't have time for it right now, being tied up with proofreading.  I  
would be happy to send you the original, if you want to find 
someone else to work on it.

On a more general note -- surely there must be a lot more 
SCAdians out there with a reading knowledge of Spanish?  I can 
understand why so many period Arabic or Russian resources have 
gone untranslated, but Spanish is the most-studied foreign 
language in the United States.  (Ras, this is in no way a complaint 
about your request, merely a matter of recurring personal 
frustration.)
