SC - date sugar

I bought something unusual on Sunday- date sugar.  The
date sugar
looks a
lot like finely granulated dark brown sugar and I
bought some
thinking it
would be tasty in
tea.

It doesn't dissolve....tea might not be the best place
to use it. I've used it in baking with good results.
In pies, spinkled on top of cookies. It's a slightly
different flavor than cane or beet sugar. But if it's
the same stuff I bought, it doesn't disslove at all no
matter how much you heat it.Good luck.
