SC - oop - healthfulness of black pepper - a query

When Charlie was still alive and I wanted to pepper anything, I had to use 
white pepper as it was personally unhealthy for ME to use black.  This was 
only because Charlie used to believe that pepper was sent from the demons of 
h---.  Garlic too, I might add.  I never got caught and he ate everything I 
put in front of him.  Surprizingly (NOT), the more white pepper and garlic 
the entree had, the more he liked it!
