Ah yes, I do make this with butternut and acorn squash when sugar pumkins are
not available. Yum! I've also see a recipe for a wedge of raw pumpkin
being cooked in such a way that the wedge, with rind still on, became it's
own slice of pumpkin custard. Definately modern, but it looked really yummy,
I don't have it here at work, but I'll look it up when I get home.
