Well, after I got called up in court this past Saturday and
HRM Timotheos finished talking, HRM Allyson spoke up and said that
recently her mother, who is non-SCA but raises and milks her own cows,
called her up and said that she had found a wonderful cheese
recipe in this site on the web called the Florilegium. I usually get
several emails a week from non-SCA folks about the Florilegium or
asking for further information that they couldn't find there. And I
believe a few people have later joined the SCA after finding the
Florilegium.

After I was called up before the throne, HRM started off by saying
some folks serve their home groups, some their kingdom and a few
serve the entire Known World. And that these folks such as Duke
Inman or Duke Kein are known outside of the kingdom. He then mentioned
hearing about the Florilegium at Pennsic, Gulf Wars, Estrella and
in Darkwater, Trimaris where he was last weekend to negotiate the
terms of the upcoming Gulf Wars. Then Master Pug (who has run the
Ansteorra website, list and now the Ansteorra server) gave me his
Iris of Merit insignia.

A big thank you to those on this list who might have written any
recommendations or otherwise helped with this. I will do my best
to live up to this vote of confidence.
