SC - Easy period soups?

Okay, another comment from the newbie. What, exactly, is the problem with
the soup they are using? Is it that it is dehydrated? Or that the recipe is
modern?

Dehydrated ingredients are available. Someone *could* put together an
"instant" period soup using powdered stock, spices, etc.
