SC - FoodTV idea

Heh. How about getting one of our listies as the chef du jour on "Door Knock
Dinners"? I just dare them to show up at my house some time. Whatever would
they make of the contents of my kitchen? Convenience foods vs. esoteric
ingredients, turkey pot pie and grains of paradise, more kinds of rice and flour
than they can ever comprehend, etc. and O The Gadgets. Not to mention the three
floor-to-ceiling units of bookshelves just for cookbooks. Heh again.

Phooey. We need to do our own cooking videos and use them as audition tapes for
Food Network. Are our folk any less bright and able than some of those worthies
who have their own shows on TV? Put another way: there's so much crud on TV,
some of it might as well be OUR crud!
