The most amazing thing about this entire situation is that the 'friend' while
making comments behind someone's back saw little need to actually intervene
and rescue said new person from the clutches of Stefan. :-) This says much
for the quality of information that the Honorable Stefan must have been
imparting. Stefan and I have our differences as the list has seen and we both
will readily admit but I will say that Stefan has always offered information
and sources for anyone who has asked for such information willingly and
without hesitation. He is to be commended for this service. There are not a
few persons in the SCA proper that not only are hesitant to provide answers
to questions but oftentimes refuse that information. It is refreshing to know
that at least one source of information is available without having to do the
'pretty please' dance or be required to actually pay for knowledge that
should be freely available to all people.
Vivats on a job adequately done.
