It's possible. His Grace was suggesting the possibility that your words
above could be seen as evidence that sugar is in the dish in only a
small amount, rather than in a co-starring role as it appeared in
Cindy's adaptation. Certainly that is a reasonable explanation. I was
trying to think about whether it might have been a proportionately major
ingredient in spite of where it is listed in the recipe.
