It is the same thing that is wrong with a diabetics, or an aid's victim. The 
blood itself carries the disease that afflicts the person--in this case, one 
that causes thickening of the blood--and so would create the disease in the 
person you use it on. That is the theory, anyway. I know in some extreme 
emergencies they have used diabetic blood. I know that is why I cannot give 
it. I had hepatitus as child.
