Hello,

I have found the kind of cardamom in East Indian food stores.  Chestnuts are
best bought fresh and can be found in most asian markets.  Look for ones that
are very firm and not shrived or soft.  Hopefully, you are in a big enough
population centre that you can find these types of stores.  They should be
listed in the yellow pages under grocercors.
