SC - Food, Indulgences and Novens

A couple of years ago, someone posted their routine for one year's Lent.
She and her husband went on an entirely period medieval diet, not a
Lenten one, but restrictive nevertheless. I seem to remember her
comments including that they both felt better and healthier after the
experience.
