judging by the date, it's likely that the additions were made from the info
passed around last time I brought it up--the possibility of pickled cherries
was my starting point that time around. That thread led to lady whose name
I can't recall, she is on again off again on the cooks list, I don't know if
she's around right now. She learned about pickled fruit in period from her
brother but I never got anything from her or him on where he got it from.
Then I started planning to move house.
The info from Yana on this thread was more particular. I'd appreciate
knowing more what is meant by 'the period part' of the Domostroi. Date
Range and locale would be helpful. (Or a complete title or ISBN so I can do
it myself.)
