You know who is very keen on cardoons, is Clarissa Dixon-Wright, the surviving
member of the "Two Fat Ladies" TV cooking show duo.  A chapter in the last book
TWO FAT LADIES' OBSESSIONS goes into some details about the goodness of cardoons
and her regret that her one-lady campaign to popularise the cardoon in Britain
had failed.

I thought about offering to fill in for the late lamented Jennifer Patterson,
I've got the figure it but I couldn't drive a motorcycle. <GGG>
