Why concerns over transmittal to humans? H & M ONLY infects hooved animals.
Any germs that may be taken into the human body die within 24 to 48 hrs. If
vaccinations are required then carriers would not be a problem because they
would not be carriers any longer. They would be vaccinated against the
disease along with the rest.
It seems that the 2 major issues surrounding H & M are completely invalid. 1)
spread of the disease would be halted completely by vaccinating all animals.
2) It cannot be transfered to humans as a disease so there is no need with
that issue to even be considered.
I suspect that the unwarrented slaughtering and silly human concerns are a
direct result of MONEY. Think of the millions of dollars being generated by
moving troops around, hiring big equipment, etc. as well as by the selling
of large number of papers sensationalizing this easily remedied problem.
Keeping a problem a problem is big business.
