SC - Anti meat sympathies

Let me add something i forgot to put in a previous message. I don't 
like people shoving their beliefs in my face, which is why i find 
many evangelizing and proselytizing fundamentalists of every religion 
to be really really annoying.

On the other hand, i don't mind a nice conversation (the word 
"argument" used to have a positive meaning) in which people express 
differing opinions and can support their opinions without ad hominem 
attacks. And, no, we don't all have to agree or "reach consensus", 
although to me, at least, one goal is being understood, even if i'm 
not agreed with - i want to feel like at least the other people 
understand my point of view.

The world would be really boring if we all thought, believed, acted, 
etc. the same. Stepford Society? I think not.
