     I know that it's generally not preferred at our local events, simply 
becuase there is barely space in the hall for the 100 or so feasters.  I've 
been to Kingdom level events where it seemed that the 250 to 300 were a tight 
squeeze.

     I beleive that if there were more space, the feast would be open to 
larger numbers of people rather than have "non-eating" seats... Of course, if 
there are no more people wanting feast, and space in the hall, I have never 
seen anyone chased out.
