SC - Profit was Opinions?

Hej!
    I was recently in Denver to see the "Vikings: The North Atlantic Saga"
exhibit & attended a Bingo game that was run by the SCA Barony there.  What
does this have to do with the cost of sites for events you ask?  Well the
reason the SCA was running a Bingo game was to put money into their Building
Fund.  It seems that as a NPO we qualify to host Bingo & make a profit from
it that goes toward the goal of buying./building a site for the SCA.  They
have raised over $200K in about 2 years if I remember correctly.  They are
also being used as a template for how to do such a thing for the whole
Society.  They have lots of ideas of how to use such a site too.  Maybe
y'all ought to get in touch with THL Johann & find out if your area could do
this?
