You can also make your own coconut milk.  Take the meat from the nut and grate
it.  Mix it with the liquid from the nut, then squeeze through a cloth.  What
will result will be your very own coconut milk, much fresher and better tasting
than the stuff you get out of a can.  You must squeeze the mixture very hard or
you won't get all of the liquid out.  What should remain in the cloth is a very
dry, very flat-tasting bit of coconut meat.
