Yes, I've always thought this was horrible. But try telling THAT to all
the non-culinary folks out there. I've even had a challenge with a
Chivdude where I asked him to prove to me "they did it that way"!

As an aside, someone (sorry cant remember who) posted something about a
MESSE. I read thru it very quickly (The Ealdormere-List is EXPLODING at
the moment) and something is niggling in the back of my mind (its
getting really crowded back there at the moment). Considering what Messe
means, is there a correlation between that and the Middle Eastern term
"mezze"? Looks remarkably similar to me.
