SC - Hazelnuts are Filberts

Now that makes sense.  Hazelnut would taste MUCH
better than Witch Hazel when mixed with almond....

If I'm not mistaken, the hazelnut bears on last year's
growth, rather than the current year's, so it seems
you could have both nuts and new leaves on the same
tree.  Of course, if you harvest all of the new
growth, you'll be ass-out for hazelnuts next year...

Or I'm wrong...
