Unto the members of this list does
Margherita the Weaver send
=20
Greetings.
=20
(Lordy, that sounds formal.)
=20
Hey guys =E2=80=93
=20
(No, no, too informal. Writing an introduction is harder than I thought.)
=20
Good evening! (Better, Better)
=20
Maybe some of you remember me. I=E2=80=99m Mistress Margherita the Weaver.=20=
 I was a=20
member of this list about two years - or maybe a little longer ago.
=20
It took me awhile to find you again, but Lady Olwen was kind enough to give=20
me the address. I=E2=80=99ve been lurking for about a week now and I=E2=80=
=99ve seen a lot=20
of familiar names.
=20
To tell you a little about myself: I=E2=80=99m one of the founding members=20=
of the=20
Bright Hills Cooks Guild and I=E2=80=99ve won Trial by Fire twice. (Hoping t=
o make it=20
three times this summer) I=E2=80=99m a fair cook and hope to get better. O=
lwen=20
posted one of my recipes to this list not too long ago =E2=80=93Scallop Pie.=
  It=20
wasn=E2=80=99t period and not meant to be. The Guild was cooking Irish last=
 month=20
and Giant Food Stores had a deal on scallops I couldn't refuse.
=20
My philosophy has always been cook good first, period second. Good period i=
s=20
best, bu tthere=E2=80=99s no excuse for bad food. I=E2=80=99ve just recentl=
y gotten over my=20
fear of redacting a recipe. I=E2=80=99ve been a lot happier since I lost my=
=20
measuring spoons.
=20
But that=E2=80=99s enough about me =E2=80=93 how about you?
=20
Margherita the Weaver =E2=80=A6 but I said that, didn=E2=80=99t I?
