IMHO, it is natural and proper for one who can no longer perform to then instruct. The number of dance instructors (former dancers)who walk with canes and teach with great skill and effectiveness is legion. Perhaps this is an inversion of the old saw, but if you can't (any longer) do, then please teach... Lady Devra the Baker
