Greetings to the List:

I have an OOP question for the Australians who subscribe. I saw Paul Hogan
("Crocodile Dundee") on a talk show recently, and the topic of
Australian-style hamburgers somehow came up. According to Mr. Hogan, they
are usually eaten with a slice of beet in place of the ubiquitous American
pickle slice. My question: does this refer to a pickled beet? My husband
and I are looking forward to trying this out.

Oh, and since I usually just lurk, I am Aethelthryth, who lives in the Barony
of the South Downs, mundanely Atlanta, Georgia.

Thank You,

Aethelthryth
