Yes, "Forme of Cury" (C.14th English) has a recipe for "Loseyns" (aka pasta)
and also uses it also in "Hares in Papdele", basically Hare broth on pasta,
which is:

	"Hares in Papdele. Take hares; perboile hem in gode broth. Cole the
broth and waisshe the fleyssh; cast a?eyn togydre. Take obleys oÞer wafrouns
in defaute of loseyns, and cowche in dysshes. Take powder douce and lay on;
salt the broth and lay onoward & messe forth."

which I think is rather interesting.
