True, but then the Mets were specifically formed to compensate for the
loss of both the Dodgers and the Giants. (Read some baseball history,
look at their uniform color schemes, check out some recorded statements
from Casey Stengle, it's pretty indisputable.) Like the Dodgers, they
are bums, but they are _our_ bums.

But what really ruined baseball was the DH rule; it has allowed for the
birth of the Great Shaitan, he whose existence would not have been
allowed under the National League's laws of natural selection. Of
course, as much as I admire the clean-play style of the Mariners, they
do harbor Jeff Nelson, former Yankee and known Clemens-in-training.
