    No, I always though the salt added a bit of depth to the flavor. I
generally get 2 pounds in the shell, and by the time I'm finished shelling
(and eating), I have a pound of nutmeat, and I'm REALLY full of pistachios .
. . (one for the pot, one for me . . .)
