And, why isn't holly period?  It's old English...  The question is,
are you trying to recreate to the best of one's knowledge a feast
that could have been served in the 13th century, or serve 13th
century foods to SCA folk, who don't much care that perhaps marzipan
holly wouldn't have been served then...
