Tigger was created by A.A. Milne for his stories which were written in the
1920's and -30's, based on one of his son Christopher's stuffed toys. The
stories were illustrated by the artist E. H. Shepard. "Disney Tigger", like
"Disney Pooh" et al, are an abomination perpetuated by Disney in the late
1950's, and having had all charm, dry wit and subtlety mercilessly bled out
of them at the hands of the nefarious "Uncle Walt", bear little resemblance
to the original stories and characters.
