Thought I would post the Menu. Most of it's from the new translation of "Das
büch von güter spise":
Course 1:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns =
"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Roast meat
Caraway & anise sauce
Swallenberg (garlic & ginger) sauce
Salmon parcels (wrapped in dough) <I won't be cooking this one!>
Greek rice (half-boiled then fried)
Cherry pudding
Course 2:
Boiled chickens two ways (one with garlic and one with bacon & sage)
Leek casserole
Cheese tarts
Pears with honey
Course 3:
Venison with Lord's sauce
Meat pie (one of the meat/bacon/fruit combinations)
Spinach pie
Almond pudding with apple topping
Sideboards during dancing, etc:
Cherry cake (more like cherry jerky....)
Nuremberg gingerbread
Fritters (apple & raisin)
Spiced nuts, etc.
Ciao
