There is a nice cookbook entitled "Classical Cookbook", done by Dalby and Grainger, which is the companion book to "Siren Feasts".  Dalby is doing a book on Byzantine cooking, but it won't be out until next year (early next year we hope, but from Prospect Books who can tell?  At least they are a little better than Kegan Paul....)
