Funny, I love beets, pickled or otherwise, but feel that way about
hamburgers! Especially any form of fast food hamburger... I can eat them at
barbecues, and they're sort of OK, and definitely better than hot dogs...

I was looking at this discussion wondering if I might be able to tolerate a
hamburger with a pickled beet. I can just see bringing a jar to the next
barbecue I attend... Hmm, that might depend on the host. Hmm, the last
barbecue I attended was hosted by someone on this list... Oh, well, it is
December, and we will pretend it is winter, though it doesn't think so (70
degrees, anyone?)so I won't worry about barbecues for a while!
