Yes, I did.  Excite at home agreed to handle ComCast's e-mail stuff until sometime
near the end of February...which of course means that my addy will change again
sometime between now and then!  But I had to do the cable modem thing while I
could get it for free...not having a job makes you very sensitive to such
things.  And it will mean that I can shortly get rid of both a second phone line
and two accounts with the local internet handler.  At least I hope I can...I may
wait until I see how the transition goes!
