_driet_ seems to be a mixture made of sugar and mostly vegetabilic
ingredients. One prototype seems to be sugar plus cinnamon. In another
Rumpolt passage, he says (ox chapter, VIb, #56):

"so nim{b} Driet/ das ist/ Zucker vnnd Zim{m}et durcheinander".
'take driet, that is, sugar and cinnamon, mixed together'

Other explanations for driet include other aromatic, mostly vegetabilic
ingredients, too.
