Hello!

I am Mistress Mathilde des Pyrenees, a cooking Laurel from the East, now
living in Aethelmearc, in the Shire of Coppertree. This is central upstate
New York, in the Utica-Rome-Oneida area.

My interests are in food and food history. Mundanely I am an academic
librarian at Mohawk Valley Community College in Rome, NY. We have a food
service and hospitality program so I get to buy cookbooks and videotapes
that support the program, and help the students do food and food history
research (woo-hoo!). We have a nice cookery collection and I am willing to
help anyone with questions in food history.

I would like to go to the Oxford Food Symposium, which is held in September
at St. Antony's College, Oxford. If anyone on this list could tell me how to
contact the organizers and find out when the symposium is this year, how to
sign up, and where to stay, I would appreciate it. Thank you!
