The egg whites are a mistranscription and mistranslation of the internet
version. Instead of:
- -- "rüerez mit eyer schinen" 'give it impetus with eggwhites'
read:
- -- "rürez mit eyner schinen" 'stir it with a (broad, flat) stick, a
broad, flat piece of wood'.
